Grooming, adapted to your pet's coat, age, and temperament

Every visit starts with a short check of coat condition and skin, then moves through the steps that apply to that particular pet.

Groomer carefully brushing a fluffy cat's coat while sitting on a living room floor
Bath & blow-dry

A full wash suited to coat and skin condition

The service begins with a wash using shampoo matched to the pet's skin and coat type, followed by a controlled dry with low-noise equipment. Sensitive ears and eyes are protected throughout the process.

Suitable for most dogs and cats, and often used on its own between full grooming sessions to keep the coat manageable.

Nail & paw care

Trimming, filing, and a check of paw pads

Nails are trimmed and filed to a length appropriate for the pet's activity level, with attention paid to the quick to avoid discomfort. Paw pads are checked for cracking, debris, or irritation.

This service can be booked alone for pets that mainly need nail maintenance between full grooms.

Breed-specific trims

Styling based on breed patterns or your preference

Clipping and scissor work follow common breed patterns where relevant, or a simplified low-maintenance trim if that suits your household better. Ear hair, sanitary areas, and paw fur are also addressed as part of the trim.

Coat length and thickness are discussed beforehand so the outcome matches expectations.

Groomer gently handling an older grey-muzzled dog during a slow-paced grooming session at home
Senior & anxious pet sessions

Extended time, reduced restraint, more breaks

Older pets and those that find grooming stressful are given a longer appointment window, split into shorter working stages. Positioning is adjusted for joint stiffness or reduced mobility where relevant.

The pace of the session is set based on how the pet responds on the day, rather than a fixed routine.
