Questions owners ask before the first visit

If something isn't covered here, it can be discussed directly through the contact page.

After scheduling, the groomer arrives with a fully equipped kit, including a portable tub, water supply, and drying and grooming tools. The session takes place inside or just outside your home, depending on space and weather, and follows the plan discussed beforehand.

Access to a single electrical outlet and a reasonably clear space, such as a bathroom, utility room, or covered outdoor area, is generally sufficient. Any specific requirements are confirmed when the appointment is arranged.

The service is designed mainly for dogs and cats. Coat type and pet size are discussed in advance so the equipment and timing can be planned accordingly. Certain medical conditions may require a note from your veterinarian before grooming.

The pace of the session can be slowed, and breaks can be added between stages. Since the pet remains in a familiar environment, sessions are often easier to adjust than in a salon setting, though every pet responds differently.

Multiple pets from the same household can often be scheduled in sequence during one visit. Each pet is groomed individually, and the total appointment length is adjusted to include everyone booked.

Shampoos and conditioners are chosen based on coat type and skin sensitivity. If your pet has a known allergy or reacts to certain products, mentioning it beforehand allows an alternative to be used.

The mobile unit carries its own water supply and heating for bathing, so it does not rely on your home's plumbing. A standard household electrical outlet is used to power clippers, dryers, and lighting equipment.

Cancellations or changes can be made by phone or email. Providing notice ahead of the scheduled time helps keep the appointment calendar accurate for other clients.

Cats are groomed with the same mobile setup, though sessions are generally shorter and structured around the cat's comfort level. Some cats need only brushing and nail care rather than a full bath.

Tubs, tables, and tools are cleaned and disinfected after each appointment. Towels and grooming cloths are replaced between pets rather than reused across different households on the same day.
